Janet Howden’s Basic Mentoring

Janet Howden’s Basic Mentoring Group meets live for 2 hours each week for 8 weeks.

Mentoring typically consists of 20-30 minutes of teaching, followed by an hour or so of practice in small groups supervised by a Group Leader who is a Qualified or Certified HeartSync Minster.

During this practice time, all participants volunteer to either facilitate, receive, or intercede in a safe environment. The last 15-20 minutes of class are used for “small group debrief,” which is where the Group Leader gives feedback to the facilitator and answers questions about the practice session.

Typically, there is also a “demonstration” night where participants will watch Janet Howden facilitate a session with a class participant.

Basic Mentoring is a great space to connect with others who are like-minded and where you can test out facilitating as you consider further training in HeartSync Ministries. If you are a current HeartSync Intern, you can also continue to develop your skills and grow your community. Mentoring creates space for you to seek the Lord through inner healing and cultivate healthier relationships. We hope to see you there!

Please note: Attendance in a Basic Program (or Basic Seminar prior to 2022) is a prerequisite for all mentoring series.
