Basic Mentoring Series with Faith MacFarlene

The Basic Mentoring Series is an eight-week mentoring series.

Mentoring typically consists of 20-30 minutes of teaching followed by an hour or so of practice in small groups supervised by an experienced facilitator. This practice is a space where people can step out and try facilitating, some receive and others intercede. The last 20-30 minutes are used to debrief what happened in the small groups. One of the sessions is used as ‘demonstration’ night where participants will all watch Janet Howden facilitate a session with a class participant.

Please note: Attendance in a Basic Program or a Basic Seminar is a prerequisite for all mentoring series.
